AIB International is a globally recognized GMP Inspection provider of audits and certification under the Global Food Safety Initiative. AIB’s GMP inspections are based on the widely recognized set of industry standards that support a strong Food and Safety program.

 In 2011, due to increased awareness and risk of Food and Safety standards in the industry, AIB increased the standards a company must demonstrate to receive a “Superior” AIB rating- the highest category rating. It also raised its rating score from 915 to 935 to only grant this recognition to “the top 25%” of all direct food contact packaging suppliers (1).

 In light of these more stringent industry-wide changes, Spiralkote Flexible Packaging increased its internal focus on Food and Safety standards and commitment to quality and was recognized for its diligence and hard work. Spiralkote Flexible Packaging was given the coveted Superior Rating with a score of 945 on September 27, 2011. The Superior Rating represents the second straight year receiving this high mark with a rating score improvement of 20 points over 2010 and increasing its Superior Rating recognition in 5 of the last 6 years.
