| Spiralkote attends Walmart Sustainable Packaging Expo |
|
Spiralkote and Keller Crescent exhibited sustainable packaging solutions at Walmart’s fifth annual Sustainable Packaging Exposition on April 6-7 in Bentonville, AR. The event was a huge success because Spiralkote was able to introduce the breadth of Clondalkin’s packaging portfolio to prospects that were present as suppliers to Walmart. The company was also able to introduce the packaging solutions directly to Walmart individuals who are involved in the same product category. The expo had 2202 registrants in attendance. The goal of the expo was to expose Walmart employees and their direct suppliers to packaging innovations that fulfill Walmart’s sustainability initiatives of creating zero waste and to sell environmentally friendly products. generic tadalafilorder cialis buy viagra over the counter order cialis online no prescription
Walmart is aggressively pursuing a strategy that reduces the amount of packaging in their supply chain by 5% by 2013. Prior to the expo, all exhibitors were required to submit their exhibit materials for audit by a third party to determine the validity of the sustainable packaging claims. At Spiralkote's booth Nick Gamb and Adam Howarth highlighted a number of sustainable packaging solutions offered by the Clondalkin Group such as Polyester lidding, Wenttera- Biodegradable and compostable product-line, and other more environmentally friendly materials. The products exhibited were very well received and resulted in numerous leads for Spiralkote and other Clondalkin divisions. Spiralkote's success combined with Keller Crescent's assistance in this year’s event will result in a broader representation of Clondalkin personnel and products in 2011.
